In thirty-minute Bible learning sites, there’s time for solid learning. We offer the Yo-Ho-Ho Opening and Closing Shows, plus four thirty-minute learning sites in the elementary section. Many site-based VBS programs pack in five or more sites, with children dashing to a new activity every fifteen or twenty minutes. That approach calls for more setup, more volunteers, significant time lost in moving from site to site, and no time to dig deep into Bible treasures. You’ll love our four-site program!

No copycat, throwaway crafts. Each item kids make involves their own choices and creativity. The crafts also lead to a daily hero’s challenge so kids can put what they’ve learned into action right away. And, the craft time involves a solid review of the Bible memory verse. Kids receive a Bible Memory Verse Doubloon with the verse imprinted on it, so they can keep their Bible treasures for years to come.

Our VBS is loaded with characters! With the HMS Steadfast from the VeggieTales® movie The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything as a backdrop, your VBS is staffed with a boatload of fun and fascinating characters who interact with the kids through the week. The antics of bumbling pirates, Bumpo and Bones, entertain kids during the Yo-Ho-Ho Opening and Closing Shows as they subtly introduce the daily Bible theme. And kids will have to be on the lookout for these pirate pals who will be lurking in the halls, ready to fire their cameras and capture the day’s fun. The captains of each learning site are unique characters (from an eccentric scientist to a shipwrecked artist and grumpy, game-loving pirates) who turn the whole day into hilarious adventures full of surprises for the crews who visit them.
